Toyota Voxy 90 Reverse & Turn Signal LED Upgrade: An Easy DIY
The 2026 Voxy looks great, but the factory halogen reverse lights and dull rear turn signals don't. The good news: swapping them for LEDs takes just one tool and no wiring.
Japanese car YouTuber 「Def」 just did it on a brand-new 2026 Voxy. Here's the quick version.
Why Upgrade?
- Reverse light: Up to 3000LM of 6000K white light, compared with about 360LM from the stock halogen. That means much better visibility when you're backing up at night.
- Turn signal: Crisp amber LED with anti-hyper-flash, so there's no fast blinking and no resistors needed.
- Plug-and-play: Same size as the factory bulbs. No cutting, no splicing.
Choose your turn signal style: Super Bright for maximum visibility, or Stealth Cover for a clean, factory look.

What You Need
- 10mm ratchet
- Rubber gloves (optional, but they help you avoid dropping screws)
How to Install
1. Remove the tail lamp Open the tailgate and remove the two 10mm screws (top and bottom). Hold the lamp with one hand and give it a light tap toward the rear with the other. It pops right out. Don't pull it slowly, because you could snap the mounting tabs.
2. Take out the old bulbs Unplug the reverse light connector first to free up some slack. Unclip the wiring from its holders, then twist both sockets counterclockwise to remove them.
3. Install the HYUGA LEDs Push the LEDs into the sockets. They only fit one way. Insert each socket all the way into the housing and twist it clockwise to lock it. Clip the wiring back in place.
4. Test, then reinstall Turn on the lights to check that everything works before you put the screws back in. Then put the tail lamp back and tighten the screws. Done!
